Car Show
Finally got my 95 POLO out of the garage the past three months due to all the roads being ripped up in my condo development. Had it fully detailed and ConnSvx and I went to a car show this past Saturday. About 60 cars and we were the only Subies. All american muscle and older vintage cars. 15 Trophies were handed out, for no particular categories except best in show won by a 60s camaro and best engine won by some hot rod forgot the year and make. I was pleasantly surprised when I was the second person called to drive my car up to award area from the field we were parked in and pick up my trophy. I was happier that a Subaru and in particular an SVX got recognized among all your typical entrees at these shows of 60s mustangs, camaros and mopar participants. Im glad one or both of the two judges took everyone into consideration and acknowledged what a great car we have. Plan to hit a few more shows before season ends with or without Connsvx (has busy schedule) and share the beauty and joy of our beloved svx. Enjoy the photos, I cant get enough of them

Definite win for Subaru ,SVX and Dan. Well deserved. It looked great. Car that won best motor was a 1939 Willy coupe with a Blower
Just to have the car recognized was a big win. Next show is in Washington ,Ct. Sept 11. I hope I can make it. This time I will wash my car up better. <LOL> maybe give Dan a run for the money. .. Next show has 29 categories Best paint , best interior, most likely to be stolen, most likely to get a date with., car I would most like to own, most likely get pulled over, best chrome , best engine and then all the best American, German, Italian, custom etc.  Hope one of us bring home some Bling.
