Sorry to say it's going to be a NO from me also. needing a bit of work doing for the MOT, namely the exhaust! although made from stainless steel, the welding isn't!

I'm going to get it repaired and plated where needs be, by a friend who has his own exhaust business, but cannot fit me in, in time.

I was looking forward to meeting up with friends old and new and the venue looks as though it could be good.

On my way home last night saw a damson svx travelling North on the A435 just outside Alcester - SDG reg I think.

So tomorrow we just rock up by 9 and ask for the SVX stand (that might confuse them when I'm driving a Legacy!)

No lads with me Joe, they are spread over the country, but my wife will be joining us.

Sorry for the late replies people!

We have no trouble with space. A nice chap called Alistair Cox has allocated us 10 spaces in the main arena. So anybody wants to come along last minute, please just turn up and ask for the SVX stand.

There is no way we would have 10 cars I think, we will possibly have 5 or 6.

Work has kept me mega busy, then a wedding yesterday, but I spoke to Graham yesterday and unfortunately the supercharged Aston was under tuning development yesterday and continuing today, so he will not be able to make the trip. Hopefully next time.

Anybody planning to travel today and wants to meet up tonight, please post up or PM your details and we will contact by phone to arrange.

Off to the airport now. See you all tomorrow morning, 9 AM.

It was great to meet everyone, we also made it onto the Pistonheads Midlands breakfast meet photographs as well.

Thank you all for a great day up at Cosford. It was so good to put faces to the names, everyone was so friendly and Joe's knowledge about the cars was very welcome, I was certainly made to feel very welcome. We certainly did provoke some interest with the crowd. It was good to give the old girl and good long trip. 400 miles round trip on one tankfull. The low level light has not come on, haven't worked out the MPG yet but it's looking good, didn't miss a beat all day. Thanks to all.

I got back to Ireland at lunch time today. I can echo Wyn's remarks, I had a really good time.

It was great to meet everybody, both new members and old friends. SteveK who could not be there on Sunday looked after me so well, a big thanks to him. The show itself was a good event, lots of smashing cars, and if anything was too short to get a decent chat with people. Maybe next time we do something similar we should add a drive-out on the Saturday afternoon? That way some of us could meet up and chin-wag Saturday evening. Also people would have the option of staying over and enjoying the social side, or else only coming for the Sunday morning.

Hopefully we can do another as good the next time. Thank you all.

I will second or third that. Great to catch up with everyone old and new, even if I don't have an SVX anymore - I am still tempted to rejoin the fold at some stage tho.
