ABS light on code 10

Hi guy's have a 96 model with the abs light on. I,ve pulled the trany ecm & it is flashing a 10 code: abs relay
I replaced it with one out of my 92 but I still have the light flashing a 10 code & dash light on.
May be a wiring issue? Any quirks or normal issues with is code or system??? thanks....
