Trannyproblems!

Hi,

My love is sick! Reverse, first and second gear works fine but it will not move up? Tranny oil is red and clean. Could it be the tranny computer or is this the death of my love?

High clutch went, sounds like. Common problem on early transmissions.

Not good

Before everyone comes on to tell you that any Legacy trans will swap right over to yours, notice where he is. European SVX's use a different transmission than US SVX's and European Legacy's.

A few of the euro members are well versed on the differences and what your options are (svxistentialist can you hear me???)
Hopefully they'll respond soon and you can get your car back on the road.

Transmissions codes?

Hi,

Talked with a transmission company about my tranny. They asked for trouble codes? Is it possible to get codes from the tranny? Sorry for the stupid question!
