svx sitting too long?
I'm on here because of my lock of knowledge on the vehicle this site is dedicated to.I have found one for sale wich a girl owned and said had been sitting for a long time.What I know about subaru is I love the car and svx is my favorite look.She said it didnt have split windows(she didnt know what I was talking about) and it ran good when she parked it.I am a technician at heart but I have been told over and over not to touch a subaru if I didnt know what I was doing(been looking for a while)so what year could this be? a 92,94?
 I'm lost

svx's came out from 92-97
get the vin number and you can find out

I'm down here in Somerset, and would be glad to answer any questions you may have on the SVX just PM me if you want. It could be anything from a 92-97 what color is it, as that could narrow it down some.. Subarus are not difficult to work on, actually as far as modern cars are concerned are relatively easy. The biggest problem is usually the transmission... I'll PM you my cell number, you can call me in the evenings if you want to pick my brain.

To answer your first question:
Nope. If it sat for a long time, its sill good. My friend Mike621 recently revived a 92 pearly after sevral years dormancy. Some time last year we had bought one back from the dead after it sat in a junk yard for 4 years. both cars not only ran good, I can honestly say they were the best running svxi I had driven, aside from mine
