Yes Trevor, a good set of crowsfeet (foots?) make workin' on my caw a snap. I store my tools in the crow's nest too.

Ron,

You may have noticed that I left the Crows Feet (ÒÓÓÓÓ) out of my message, much to the chagrin of my old English teacher, as I thought you might be watching.

However having had a second look I am editing the posting so that she does not turn in her grave, (or snap out of it).

Howsat and how is your King Dick, Trevor.

The King Dick's rigid, Trevor; just like my Snap-On.
Thanks for your concern.

Gentlemen. These forums are bastians of decorum and good taste. Please refrain from discussing member's members.

Meanwhile, I was discussing with some of the Reading meet attendees this weekend, how, as a child of the 70's, in my younger days, when I spoke of drugs, the conversation turned to pot and acid and speed. Nowadays, talk of drugs seems to go along the lines of Propecia, Rogain and Viagra.

Additives

What is it with you young guys that you need stuff in your gas.

Now Randy you have jumped to the wrong conclusion. There was a very long thread on Yah-boohoooo devoted to spanners and wrenches ( and not wenches ). King Dick was a major feature so that the precedent has been established in respect of the said member of the spanner family appearing in this medium. He is not and nor did I imply that he is a member of this group or indeed in any other respect a member. As Ron has pointed out he stands tall in his own right and is in no way vulgar and is not even a boatman.

Apologies accepted, Trevor.

Trevor, my apolgies for misunderstanding. I was merely meandering through the posts and found references to King Dicks and Snap-Ons and thought I had happened upon bawdy talk.

I can certainly understand the need to Snap-on your King Dick and span yourself into a furor.

You two seem to have this situation well in hand, so, I'll just back away, but, being carefuly I don't back INTO anything on the way out. Cheerio!!

No, No, Randy,

These men are spanner-heads.

Bawdy talk is when they mention Strap-ons.

Strap On

Joe you obviously have found that brand of spanner advertised on the net. Are they a queer tool something like Snap On crows feet?

Strange tool all right. Don't know about the queer bit. Supposed to be AF but look metric to me.

Sorry Joe, I should have been more specific and correctly specified " queer's tool " and more likely BSF.

Trevor.

Okay, I'm seeing a definite trouble spot here. First of all you see "Down Under" then, verbiage about "Tools." Then, "Snap ons, strap ons, King Dicks, queers and . . ." Perhaps it's a cultural thing. I'm just happy James is the moderator here.

I'm still coming to terms!!

Oh what is happening here!!! My innocent Irish ears, tuned only to the gentle of whisper of the breeze that teased the trees on the Gaelic bog, now faces this hotbed of innuendo, implication, sly glances and fugitive grins....

oh woe is me....

But then again, its all very interesting!!

*guilty of trans-cultural gaffes himself*

Cop This Lot !

Ron you know you started it,
I donÕt understand a word of it,
An Irish cop is investigating it,
Leave you to untangle all of it,
IÕm outahere!

* Slinks off with lowered eyes turned westward fearful of a Gaelic storm *

Guess who ?
( Bugger! canÕt undo that thing which I know will appear below and give me away.)

P.S. The cop will OK the Ò b Ò word as it has been rendered quite officially acceptable as an expletive down under and we Kiwis are to blame as well as japanese car manufacturer Toyota.
