Exclamation something happen need help if anyone knows what to do.

Ok I know I’m the newbey but has anyone had an oil line leek after or before they went to get there oil change. Cuz there is a sh*t load of oil (on my car) on the left side of the herders closed to some lines and so on to the button on the car. When I started up the car it started to smoke from the engine. Was thinking of taking it to the dealership but they don’t knew anything about the SVX. Gay ass dealership said that it is too old for them. FU*king hate Jim Bird or what ever it is. They suck nut about a year a ago before the 05 sti came out I tried to get one form them but they too about 8 moths to get a STi but it was blue and my bro wanted to get a black one. So we had to go up to Huntsville just to get on in Black and they had one in stock. After about the ten moths they call us up to tall us that they had got one. But they were too later we bought the one in Huntsville for about $34 thousand. With everything on the car but the mats.

Any chance they clean some of the old burnt oil off?

If you have a nasty leak it will drip onto the exhaust and well, burn. :|

Are you sure it is oil and not a busted CV boot that sprayed grease all over?
Also could be a power steering line if it sprayed all over the exhaust header.

Motor oil in that area will be dripping from the valve covers but it is rare for it to be that huge a leak all of a sudden like that.

Yeah well I’m trying to get a pic of it. But what every it is it is all over the left header at the button and at the top where the three pipes start go down. Thinking it has to do with a hoes or something like that

$34,000 for an 05 STi and you should have gotten EVERYTHING that can come on that car that would be considered a "Normal" option....The most expensive STI that I've seen was an 05 that was priced at $33,000 and that had everything....

I agree here but wouldn't the first two be really obvious?

I guess it will be if he runs out of ps fluid. xD

My oil leaks never really made smoke anyhow.

Yeah you've got oil all over your block like I do.

LOLO "the hoes that I think it is". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...Ryuken/lol.gif <- (wtf img tags)

You know when people are under your car they should be telling you what's going on under there.

Pretty much everytime I went somewhere to get something done I've been told about my many oil leaks and where they come from.

Take a look under your manifold for me and see if it looks like this.

BTW..... That "Hoes" is not the one that is leaking oil... That HOSE is one for the Air Conditioning.... It is really hard to figure out what is wrong from those pictures... They are mostly blurry... Any chance you can take some better ones??

It looks like that with oil covering everything?

If it's red, and I have some red wetness sitting in there, it's probably your power steering that's leaking which wouldn't be surprising.

i gots me a leak on my valve cover that sealed it self some how cuz everytime i drained my oil i have exactly 6 quarts everytime and after 3000 miles of hard runnin my oil still looks new. so i think my svx is in pretty damn good shape. just need to do something about these brakes. i hit 120 the other night on the freeway and i was tapping the brakes and the e-brake and i had no front brakes what so ever. i was sooo pissed cuz i bout those raybestos brake pads from dayle and the slotted and drilled rotors from him and the squeek and it is soo embarassing so i have to slam on the brakes real quick so they done squeek. but other then that i love my car. 82300 miles and no problems with my driving on it just 200 miles to the tank.
