Car key has wore out need an new one!

Well after I parked the car at work and left it sit for an while.. I got off and unlocked the and thought I was going home... But the key didn't want to turn or never take off the alarmed... After am while playing with thr key I got the alarmed off but couldn't start the car up... Need to know where what I new to get an new Subaru key

If it's one of the original keys that came with the car, any Subaru dealer can use the code stamped on it to cut a new one. Otherwise the dealership can cut one based on the VIN if all of the info was entered properly into SOA's system when the car was sold new.

The key code is also stamped on the lock cylinder inside the passenger door.
