Which o2 sensor is bad?

Using an ElmScan 5 Code reader on my 96 I got the following code,

PO135 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1

Any body know which oxygen sensor that might be?

Re: Which o2 sensor is bad?

the bank cylinder one is on sooooooo drivers side right? do you know what the sensor number is? that code doesn't necessarily indicate there is a sensor problem you need to check that the heater circuit is getting power and ground which requires a wiring diagram to figure out which wire is which... unless some one knows off hand?

Re: Which o2 sensor is bad?

I had the same problem trying to figure out which sensor was bad, then I found these on Ebay and changed all three.
They have been in for 2 months now -- no codes - no problems. car runs much smoother.

Re: Which o2 sensor is bad?

MY OBDII scanner says PO135 is The O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1, Sensor 1

Bank 1 is always the bank where cylinder No. 1 is, the driver's side (left) bank. Bank 2 is the opposite (right) bank. After the point where the pipes meet at the main cat and after, everything is Bank 1.

Sensor 1 is located by the left manifold, in front of the pre-cats
Sensor 2 is located by the right manifold, in front of the pre-cats.
After the Y, it's all Bank 1, so the sensor behind (or in) the catalytic converter is Bank 1, Sensor 3
