Update on new SVX Yipee!!

Just got back from the tranny shop. I was told (okay, it was implied by Subaru) that the tranny was probably shot -binding etc so it was in FWD mode. My guys flushed it/ lube/new filter and said drive it then come back and we'll see. Seems everything is working fine, no binding, I'm AWD!!
Now its fix the muffler, seems I need a new head pipe; new brake pads to stop the squeal 'cause its driving me crazy; transmission rad and filter.

Quick question: My power light blinks that I have a code (#25 engine torque control signal). Had it checked and working fine. Flashing stopped. But now the power light still does 16 blinks sometimes, always the same 25 when I check, but it doesn't flash everytime I start up? I thought I read somewhere that you can't clear the code unless the problem's fixed. Why does it only flash occasionally?

Glad to hear all went well with the tranny flush Cynic. Looks like you dodged a bullet. As for the blinky light, I wish I could help, ut I'm just not SVXperinced.
