NWSVX Spring Classic 4 - June 2nd!!!!

It's official! We are continuing one of our great Northwest SVX traditions with the Spring Classic driving tour. This year we'll be revisiting one of our "classic" routes (with some changes to be sure) and touring scenic Whidbey Island. This is going to be a great mix of scenery and driving, and as usual lots of free time to hang out and talk SVX. More details to come, but wanted to get the date out there now so we can get a sign up going to help plan...

When: Saturday, June 2nd, 2007 10:00am - 5:00pm.

Where: Tour starts in Burlington, Washington at the Starbucks in the Fred Meyer parking lot.
1030 S Burlington Blvd.
From I-5 north or south take Exit 230 (Burlington/Anacortes)
Head east (towards Burlington) on Rio Vista Ave.
At about 1/3 mile take a right on Burlington Blvd.
At 1/2 mile take a left on Cascade Mall Dr.
Take 1st left into the shopping center.
At the 4-way stop, turn left and you'll see the Starbucks parking lot.
There are gas stations between the freeway and here, PLEASE fill up before getting to the meeting point at Starbucks.

Who: As usual, all are welcome! We want to emphasize that for this event COUPLES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND! This can be much more than a "car event", with the scenery and the extended stops in tourist areas. Make reservations at one of the inns and this could even be the gateway to a romantic weekend away in one of the Northwest's most popular locations.

What: A scenic driving tour through some of the most popular tourist locations of the Pacific Northwest. The tour will be 6 hours, including several extended stops at various points of interest and photo opportunities. Don't forget your camera!
