Hmm...45mm offset with 7" width should work. Too bad it looks kind of ricey to me. Why is it that we can't find any good wheels with the correct offset?

I have a friend who sells Rota wheels over on i-club. Rota offers a couple of 17x7.5", 48mm offset, 5x114.3 BCP (Battle, Machspeed, Tarmac) that are reasonably priced at about $580 a set (4) in a variety of colors. I wish I'd known about them when I bought my SSR's.

If you're intrested, let me know.

well....

Imho, any offset from +35-+45 works fine on an
SVX since Ive had mostly +38 on all my cars for almost
3 yrs with no problems....
As for that particular rim, .....you like that really...??
I can look around, but they are sorta 90s style and
has gone out of style already and harder to find now....

Well I tried 38mm 16x7.5 and am on 40mm 16x7 right now, and both rubbed. So unless I want to pull out the fender to make room, I'll have to stick with something close to the stock offset.

Kuoh, you might check the Team Dynamics websight. When I was shopping around I seem to recall they had a number of selections with high offsets - some even at 55mm.
I settled for a 16x7.5 with a 45mm offset. You can see them in my locker.

your being too vague, be more specific.....
Most importantly, what size tire did you use..?
WHERE did it rub exactly...??
WHEN did it rub....?

my cars Lowered and never had any problems, and I even
had 19s on my silver car with a +38mm rim, no rubbing....

I had the stock tire size on the whole time, just changed out the 16" wheels. The rubbing occurs between the tire and the wheel well lining right at the edge where it meets the fender whenever the car is accelerating, turning, going over a bump, or just loaded down. There is less rubbing now that I've gone to 7" wheels with 40mm offset, but it's still there. When using the stock wheels, there is absolutely no rub no matter what brand of tires I had.

Look in my locker under the "Wheels" folder. I like the Battles (for an obvious reason)

Kouh,

My rims did the same thing, all I did was trimmed the lining where they rubbed and all is fine now.. I'll seal it up with insulating foam this spring, but it's been like this for almost a year now with not more rubbing..
