5th Annual NWSVX Fall Colors Tour!

Hard to imagine sometimes, but this is already the 5th Fall Colors Tour! The route has slowly evolved over the years, sticking close to the same location with just route improvements, or enough changes to keep it interesting.

This year the general locale is the same (starting in Snohomish County), but the route may be changed up a bit more. Our good friend Larry, who has attended several driving tours, volunteered to plan the route on this one, and I've left it in his capable hands.

So I'm pretty excited to discover where we go as a participant along with everyone else. Should be fun!

Oh the date by the way is Saturday, October 21st, meeting up in Marysville, WA at 9:00am with the tour to start at 10:00am sharp. Full details are available at www.nwsvx.com.

As usual, I want to encourage everyone to come - if you live "out of the area" (guess that term is relative to what you consider it to be), the local SVX population is pretty enthusiastic (that's why most events are centered around here). If you want to make a weekend of it, we will plan additional events around the tour - Friday night restaurant/bar meet, and/or the same Saturday night, Sunday breakfast, etc. Likewise, several locals have spare rooms to spend Friday/Saturday night free of charge. Or if you want some privacy, we can recommend nice lodging options close to the action. Just contact me or make a post and we'll make it happen!

Just don't be hestitant about coming because you don't want to "drive 4 hours just to drive all day some more", because we can always turn it into a weekend of socializing and hanging out with a group drive in the middle.
