your silverstars lasted a year?

I guess it is just dark here more. I never ran mine at day and they lasted five months! No I did not touch the bulbs but I am running 9005 are you whose lasted a year running 9006's?

You guys should take note of the color of light as reflected in the snow. Note the HID's are quite white in comparison to the other two.

Yes the HID look great, but I can't see spending $400 to $500 and then hacking up my headlights to install them.

I got
Street glow 9005 $25.00
Street glow 9006 $25.00
Wire upgrade kit $30.00
4 gauge from alt to battey and ground $15.00

So for $95.00 I got 4000K light with no chance of melting anything.

It works for me. Its not HID but as close as I can get for less then $100.

I think their high intensity wires that dont melt with the new bulbs. When i put in cool blues they melted the wires and everything. I had to splice in a new socket. SO i bought a high intensity socket and hasnt melted them so far.
