Wow..... I'd love to get an engine in the mail COMPLETLY disassembled. Putting those things together would really really give me a kick

Hummm, probably won't have to cut too big a hole in the SVX's hood to make it fit...

its is....Alive !!

fired the new motor up today....
Just need to break it in
rebuild my downpipe
install my hood and front bumper
I have a programmable HKS F CON V computer
that I can plug into my laptop,
going to fine tune it in about a month or 1000 miles
and get even bigger injectors now for the 2 J to handle
hopefully upwards around 800hp

2j real soarer, sweet! hope that auto is built with a 3 plate tc

your gonna need a hell of a bigger trim size to bump up to 800. What kind of build did you do on the 2j? Also you should probably consider ditching the cast manifold. Recently replaced a .67 270 degree garret that had a cast greddy manifold with a tubuler unit and got boost faster, more consistantly, and stronger all dyno proven. when your playing with that much air very few mods are gonna get you results in that area(besides nitrous). Let me find out the make for you if you interseted.

Also ive only done 1j swaps into mkiii's(which aren't derived from soarers naturually) , so im curious to know if the 2j bolts to the 1j soarer AT. All the 1j lexus swaps here are 5spead ge 300 to 6spd gte swaps.

the trans is built by the same guy who builds my SVX transmissions
This turbo is perfectly capable of making up to 800 hp
(its XS Engineerings dual ball bearing TO4S)
and I know of a few other guys using the same on their motors with excellent results.
My upper intake has been Extrude Honed
Exh header is HKS stainless tubular
along with HKS cams, Fuel pump, Fcon V computer
Stock short block crate motor
4000 stall convertor
Blitz FMIC and Dual SBC
Unorthodox cam gears and pulley kit, and soon to be 550 or 850 injectors.
SeTrab trancooler
and probably a few things Ive forgotton about

Put 100 miles on it today....
feels great to experience "boost" again after 2 months
Even though Im keeping it under 10 psi for now
