Somernites Cruise Meet

I'd like to see a few show up....we had a pair of Deloreans show up last year at a couple shows....it'd be cool to have them and the SVX side by side....

The July Somernights cruise (Last Sat-July 24)had a new record attendance of 1,304 cars.....

And got to see a Shelby Cobra Kit car crash into the side of a bank!!! ......
The woman driving it was going to do a burn out (I think) she tached it up and dumped the clutch....but had th ecar in reverse instead of 1st, and backed it right into the side of the bank she was parked in front of.

Saw at least one Delorean....but only one Subaru...my 95 Impreza Couple that's for sale

We need to make a showing next month!!!!

I am not sure bad popping sound around turns a tanging sound when i shift. Still haven't found whats causes the coolant problem we spoke about, because in daily driving that I have done it has not done it again. previous owner said it did it when she baught it then never did it again. leads me to think a 'minor tear' in a HG. but coolant and oil look 'ok' and no smoke. It really just needs a better mechanic then me.

It still idles pretty damn rough after about 15 minutes of driving the car sits and shakes a bit. Just start it thought it sits and purrs like a kitten. No tale tale engine noise of a bearing going bad or knock.

Think it'll make it down to Somerset...as I have access to a lift, and a spare motor for parts...
How many miles are on it?
The temp thing could be a sticky thermostat...
Have the plugs been replaced?
Have you cleaned the MAF?

If not I might try to come up there and try to help you out one weekend, but I'm going to NC this weekend...

I think it will make it there. It made it 800+ miles home. just name a weekend and I will drive the beast there. I would love someone of your knowledge of SVX's to look at it. It seems to be getting me where I need to go. Any items you think I should buy? the car just turned 100k miles btw.

Also I 'Crash' and I ran into each other yesterday. He spoke highly of you. Also took him for a ride in my svx. He thinks its not in such bad shape.

Maybe the weekend of 8/21, or just wait till the next weekend 8/28 and put it in the show with the rest of us...we could take a look at it in the morning before the show, then we could all sit around checking each others cars out at the show...

It'd be hard to recommend parts till I knew more about the car, I'd hate to replace new plugs, or a new water pump, not knowing anything about your car.

I will get with him about it. Do you think if we found anything wrong with it that we could fix it? Or is it just kind of a discovery. Replacing plugs is fine with me. Cheap probably needs to be done. the body of my car is crappy shape I will come sit around with ya but it will be in the parking lot
