I personally love the B11S. I emailed the SOA rep that I usually deal with and told them that I'll buy one as soon as they become available.

BLEEECH!!! don't ruin it for the rest of us! what is that SOA rep's e-mail. i need to let them know if they put that upside-down Alfa nose on all their cars, they can consider me a lost customer......unless some nice aftermarket front end kits become available for them. yes, its THAT ugly!

well it took about 20 minutes for the page to load on my slow-ass-copper-phone-lines-at-the-end-of-a-dirt-road internet connection, but i have to say, i'm impressed.

not necessarily with the overall design of the car, but with the fact that FHI is finally funding a roadster. my mother has ALWAYS wanted a droptop car, but her need for AWD has always stopped her from dropping the cash.. she looked at the TT quattro but it was a little too Bauhaus for her

anyway, it seems to me that people are caring less and less about what a car actually LOOKS like (see 01-04 WRX, Z4, any Chrysler product) and some of them care even LESS about how well it PERFORMS (see non-evo Lancer, Celica, Civic Si) so i imagine this new roadster will actually do okay. In fact, I think that the hybrid/AWD/droptop combo will satisfy an ever-widening niche for economy, safety, and image.

now let's see if they have the balls to build it.

I love the R1e (at least for the wife)

Ideal little shopping car and would free up the SVX for me

I liked everything about the B11S except the nose, it was just way too extreme. This one is just not quite as over the top, I like it.

The Air Force is up to B-2 from B-1 in bombers.

Subaru started with B-11S and went down to B-9S

This car reminds me of a Miata with an Alfa grill.

I like it. And, I might be able to afford one in four years.

I also like the B11S. But the roadster, in comparison, is somewhat "benign."

I hope Subaru will do better this time with this attempt than their SVX. SVX, WRX made a road for Subaru in the past ten years, and they are perceived better than 10 years ago. It is a great looking car but I probably won't buy it. If it attracts me, I would have bought a Miata long time ago. I bought my SVX because I can squeeze four people in it and it looks very different, and it has a great engine.
