Dayle, your box looks really nice, but is quite expensive. You may get some buyers if it was priced a little more reasonable. That being said though I ahve been asked to do some glass work for sub enclosures and i said no because it was too much of a hassle.

Re: Trunk sub boxes

I agree but you answered yourself at the same time.

that sub looks like it would cost no more than 100 bucks if you wanted to invest the time to do the measurements and fiberglass one yourself.

Re: Trunk sub boxes

Actually, I wouldn't have the slightest clue where or how to have something fiberglassed. And didn't you see? Dale's is on sale! Still a bit too pricy for me though. Then again, what isn't?

Re: Trunk sub boxes

ok sounds good, you have the subs already right? can you measure what the diameter and how much of a lip there is from the edge? This way i can make sure the subs fit in the ring.

Re: Trunk sub boxes

Do you have an idea of the internal volume of your enclosures? And these are sealed, right? I'm interested too

I'm looking for a sealed enclosure for a single 10" sub...a JL Audio 10W6V2. Either side of the trunk would work, although I think I'd prefer it to be on the drivers' side. Dimensions / relevant sub measurements can be found here. Ideally, I'd like total gross internal volume to be roughly 0.691 cubic feet in order to maximize sub performance, although this doesn't have to be exact.

Let me know if you don't mind making another one...
