As someone else mentioned, do you need some good interior shots, stock or otherwise?

For that matter, close up shots of various components, like the engine, or zoomed in on just a headlight, tail section, etc.

Along the lines of pictures that would be in a "full story" of the SVX type book, with a lot of text and history.

Or is this strictly a picture book focusing on the full-car beauty shots?

Sorry for the slow reply to all folks, I've been moving, and inet access isn't scheduled to be set up until later today at the new place.


Troy, I'm not going for a theme per say, but different chapters will contain different topics. The first chapter will be about the design/prototype/89 car show. The second will be about the failed advertising camapaign. I'm getting some very cool shots from SOA from the factory where the car was assembled. Mostly I'm looking for the following.


1.) Artistic shots of the car (already a few great entries here)
2.) Shots of the car in motion, on a senic route, at the track, etc.
3.) Pictures of the car being modified, I'd love some images of tom welding, lan prototyping, etc
5.) Interior shots of pristine SVXs.
6.) A shot of a very high milage gage cluster.


Some rules of the trade -

get the camera closer to the subject than you think you should.

Try to keep powerlines out of the shot.

If in doubt, you are too far away from the subject, get that camera close!

Driveway shots aren't that inspiring, get that car out there somewhere beautiful.

Get the camera close!
