SVX loves knows no bounds; I made a tribute video of mine!

So obviously it's tough to contain excitement about our cars. Well, I had some free time the other day and thought it might be fun to throw a little promo/tribute video together of my Laguna. The video WOULD look awesome, but youtube's conversion process kinda sorta bastardized the quality. Hopefully it still works for you guys though, it was just a random idea that I thought could be fun.

Feel free to go comment on it too or something, my username over on youtube is "gr8dane6" haha yes I had to throw a number at the end cuz somebody out there thinks they're a better "Gr8Dane" than me...you be the judge.

I stumbled onto a guy who figured out how to upload full-quality stuff onto YouTube... I'll be using his method from now on, since it works...

He gives a link in the video's description to a download of the video as well as the codes that are displayed in it. Pretty neat stuff.

That said, that was a GREAT video!!! I wanted to do something similar with some of my friends' cars. Good to see someone pull it off.

hey thanks guys yeah i wanna check out that better quality method, definitely worth it. Though i'm running a mac so i may potentially run into problems, i'll just have to see. Thanks for the link!

There's a distribution of Mplayer/Mencoder for Mac, so you're in luck. Just ignore the part where he makes clips. Since you already have a video ready for uploading, you can ignore where he uses VirtualDub.

You will need an MP3 converter of some kind, though, to get your audio into the right format.

sadly, I really don't have much time, I filmed this in the 3 hour gap i had between a couple of my college classes and then I edited it when i got home that night and the following afternoon, but that was it, honest!

oh and yeah I can make a high quality downloadable one if somebody really wants it that bad, just lemme know what format and resolution you want and i'll get around to making a copy. as for where u can download it from, i can either find a site to upload it to, like maybe divx's stage 6, or something, or if u know any good upload/download site that'll take a moderately sized video?
