LOL.....I would mention a story from last friday night, but then Id get another warning in my PM box. But lets just say I think I made someone else probbaly ask themselves in their VR-4 what the hell is a SVX and why did it pass me....I throw a big "WINK WINK" out at my buddy chike, he always is the first to hear my war stories...

Somebody has to play with their SVX..

I am working on my own version of "When keeping it real goes wrong" like on the dave chapelle show....Its got video of that pre-mentioned event....and then some.....

"John Doe in his 94 VR-4 is taking his girlfriend out for a drive, when driver B we will just call him tancred2.(no relation) in his 92 SVX pulls up next to him, John Doe revs at TANCRED2. Be careful with what you say over there Chike. It sounds like you're trying to convince them that the SVX is better than their cars.

A lot of people will take offence to that. Consider the opposite, someone comes to this site bragging about how his (insert model car here) is much better than the SVX. It happens and we become defensive. There's no convincing.

That's the thing, I never tried to say our cars were better - just different and definitely not crap!

If someone came to our site talking about a rare car that one member spotted on the road, I wouldn't make dumb attacks like some people did over there.

I have an appreciation for all sports cars/trucks in some way - especially ones from Japan!

Sorry to see that they had to attack you on that forum Chike. That manages to show the shear immaturity of most other vehicle networks. The SVX network is full of people that are willing to help each other and marvel at each others cars, no matter how big or small. Forums like the 3000GT site are filled with people that simply try to show each other up. This inherently breeds belligerence towards not only their fellow members, but other cars as well. Most of us here choose to see that the SVX is great and we love it, but that the 3000GT and Stealth are great cars as well. Too bad that mindset obviously does not function inversely.

Yeah, I've dropped it like an ol' habit. I added my $0.02 in clean, informative way w/o using insults...

Maybe someone over there learned something +ve about the SVX and we'll get some new owners in the near future!
