Driver side mirror broken Q:

hi i have a question about my driver side mirror it works side to side but it wont adjust up and down my question is the problem in the mirror or in the switch thanks for the feedback>

It's most likely the mirror itself.

ok so if it is the mirror it self is there any way of gutting out a donor mirror taking the parts i need and rebuilding the one already on the car?

I don't know if this might help. I got one stuck (it like went past it's stop ). I pushed on the glass part ( slightly top and bottom some pressure but don't hammer on it if it won't move ) .It clicked a few times and re set it self.
