Re: HVAC 13/31 - 41 Trouble Codes

It's $152.36 on subaruparts.com. (72023PA010)

I still claim that it shouldn't cost you any money to fix this issue. Just removing the plate off the end of the motor and cleaning out the stuff that was in there will get it working again. You don't even have to remove the motor from the car. You could even add a tiny bit of oil in the cap to help the motor spin.

Re: HVAC 13/31 - 41 Trouble Codes

Got my motor today but was sort of pissed it was universal.... however, at the end it all worked out. Getting the glovebox out is somewhat of a pita but not as much as it is getting that blower motor out with a spiderweb of electrical wires, dear god.

Hovering down on the ground at an angle for 25 minutes (x2) trying not to anything up worked out though... and now it blows super cold, super hard. I love it.

BUT.... for some reason, 31 still shows up as an error code but maybe? I have to remove the fault code or something (as I remember reading that after it happens 8 times, it is stored?) so hopefully that is all.

Wouldn't be complete without the aftermath party pics ....
(really did need a new one...)

What actually failed in there? I can't tell from the pics.

I had about that much powder in mine when I first opened it up.

I don't know, I already tossed it in the trash, thankfully. I don't ever want to see it again ...
