Greetings from Australia.
 I'm up to owning my 4th Subaru... kind of habit forming I guess... So this last one is finally an SVX... been wanting one for soooooo long, and I've finally found a low km one worth restoring/maintaining. I should admit that I've been lurking here for probably 2 years as I've done my research and dreaming. It feels good to have finally bought my "ticket" to joining in here properly.

Got my first and defiantly not my last SVX and it is great, many things will be done to it to keep it beautiful. I hope to be a benefit not a drain on the community.

Hi my name is jeremy rizzuto been on here for a little while after deciding to purchase a 95 lsi that was headed to be stripped. Im located in colorado springs colorado. Picked the 95 up in denver from a guy that couldnt fix it, he said it was the front axles but i told him since i couldnt drive it, i would only give him 1600 he said ok and sure enough it was the front diff. the spyders were blown. So i did the 4.11 swap and im still working out the kinks. So far this sight has been very helpfull, thanks to all of you that have posted the good info.

My name is Drew an I've been daily driving my SVX in an around Orange county CA for about a year now. I've been dabbling with this forum on an off since the day before i bought my car. (Thanks for all the info)
Red 95 I thought it was a FWD L model cuz of the X33 in the vin but my mechanic had it up on the lift an theres axels and a dif back there. when he turned the rear drive shaft by hand both rear wheels spun. Does this mean AWD? its only got 65k on it. It had 57k when i bought it. I'm pretty sure I just saved from it the scrap heap. Its been leaking oil from everywhere the power steering is gone the axels are popping. I was just gonna dump it, but despite all this I've decided to fix it. The shop is going to fix most of that for $1000 including timing belt water pump valve cover gasket an spark plugs

Hey guys (and gals), Joined here back in 2008 when I was looking at getting an SVX. Needless to say that never happened.
But now Im back, still not with an SVX though. I have plans to swap a EG33 into a impreza coupe this summer. Oh, im Christian and live in Boise, ID although im going to school in Moscow, ID. Currently I have a 97 Legacy Outback, this will remain my DD.
