My poor baby got ran into

Last night my car got backed into. I can't even drive it not that I would, looking like it does the whole rear quarter panel and bumper is crushed and the tire rubs the body when I turn right or hit a bump

OUCH! Kevin, man, I know what you're going through. Too bad it was the rear QP though, that will be a difficult and expensive fix, if it can be fixed at all. Hope all turns out well, though. I'm taking mine back in tomorrow to have some tweaking done on the fender to bumper alignment. I happened to notice this weekend that the fender does not fit flush with the bumper on the repaired side as it does on the undamaged side. It's unnoticible to the "untrained" eye, but, once I noticed it, it SCREAMS at me. Am I too anal?

Kevin,
Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Hope it looks like new real soon.
To have one's car backed into is a anus crime if you ass me. But you didn't, so I'll just butt out... Don

A real bummer, SVXphile. Sometimes you rearly crack me up, but I think you're getting a bit too cheeky of late. Let's just can the whole thing.
I guess I'm under arrest, huh? Tsu/who?

It's the Donnie and Ronnie Show!

<Thanks for the hindsight, Aredub!>

Thanks for the backup Ron! Tag-teaming Aredub is the way to go...stereo!
Now before I get in arrears on this thread...

--------

Kevin,
Glad to hear all is repairable, but what a pain! Maybe if we all had big yellow wings on the back, other drivers could see us better! Someone put a nice dent in the left rear corner of mine the other day; right where it makes the bend from the side to back. The old Dent Wizard is gonna clean up when I take her in next time..... Don

Yer gonna hate me for this . . .

. . . but I couldn't help but notice that you said that the damage was to the rear, and yet the tire rubs when you turn right. Do these here SVX's have some kind of AWS going on or something?

(don't hit me)
