At Nissan I had the chance to drive some cars with brand new auto transmissions including the G35 Sport Coupe, and the 2004 Maxima. They don't touch the SVX transmission performance. The SVX shifts sooo much more quickly, and it is a much firmer shift (especially downshifts). I'm not a fan of auto transmissions, but I can definately handle the SVX tranny.
