Strange as it may be I think I know where this guy is coming from. He is havng fun and has sensibly used a low value car and material he has skill to work with. He has not tried to hide the wood but has shown it off so that it is the essence of the project. In an artistic sense it is a retro woody up date.

As he says he has not done material damage to the original and his well set out description of the project does him credit. I would not rate him as stupid unlike many who go the mod. way.

I used to like Sentras, neat little design, but I know I just wooden like this one.

Not a fan of wings and addenda anyhow.

Well it's, um, different. I can see how the guy found it entertaining to build, but who's gonna buy it? I hope the new owner thinks it's fun and doesn't do anything dumb like paint over it. I think a deep cherry stain would go nice with the car, though.
