It was pretty awful. I don't want to do it again.

However, it looks like we will be; we picked up an 8 week old golden retriever puppy tonight at about 9pm. Any name suggestions?

He's a goofy rolly polly guy.

So far we have Homer, Mack, Frankie, Marvin, and Apollo.

Any suggestions?

- Ca$h

PS: Getting a puppy sure helps.. a lot.

My deepest condolences,

I know the pain. I had a two-month old mini dockshund; one Sunday morning, he vomitted blood foam, recovered a little after a while, and literally dropped dead. It happedn so quick, in a couple of hours. He must have eaten something poisonous from outside. Saddest part was that I couldn't do anything. I couldn't take him to any vet because everyone was closed. I still get emotional whenever I see his pictures.

Thumbs down Sorry...

...to hear that $VX

Our family once lost a cat, that didn't hurt me that much.
But I am sure you can't compare the relationship to a cat and the relationship to a dog.

A dog is like once best friend!

My Condolences!

Rob, sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a close friend is really tough.

And good luck with your new friend. I like "Homer".

Get used to the chewing stage and keep him away from your SVX. I have heard horror stories of puppies tearing up the interior. The leather seats would make a nice chew toy.

Matt

So sorry...

Rob, I'm sorry for your loss. A new dog will not take away the memory of your previous one but it sure will ease the pain and he will carve a new niche in your heart all his own.

As for a name, I too am partial to "Homer". I hope he brings you much love and enjoyment
