Hello alex.
Wow! I didn't know there were other CU students who are members here, except me.
Do you drive a green SVX by chance? I think I might have passed you on highway 36 in my ebony.

I started as a Newsman at age 16. Graduated to DJ after about a year and made a living at "spinning stax of wax" for 12.5 years. You're right. No way to make a living.

Printing...gag

Well, I see a trend here. I work at a print shop and mix UV and SOY based inks. I also slave for the press operators and pack buisness forms into boxes. Soon I hope to be mixing paint for Sherwin Williams.

i just switched from an ANALOG cell phone a few months ago. i used it maybe 2-3 times a month, so i just held on to it as long as i could. couldn't use it at work because we can't use cell phones in the buiding - interferes with the equipment. i was amazed at the battery in my new one - it lasts for DAYS, not 2 hours. technology is great. is your building lined with Kryptonite?

My wife got an analog phone about 4 years ago. Special one year contract - $10/month w/free weekends. Seems that year never has come to an end. We asked about it a couple of times and they said, "Oh thanks, we'll fix that next month." It hasn't been 'fixed' yet, and we've quit talking about it. Our bill is rarely over $12, including out-of-state calls, etc. The phone is held together with rubberbands and duct tape. There is no way we're going to upgrade.

Part of my department is the IT and communications departments, Verizon is the only one that didn't put a antenna system in our building. I work in the middle of the Grand America hotel... www.grandamerica.com go to that site and you will see a white granite and steel monument with marble and russian oak interiors..... I think that it just absorbs the signal

Yes, they are good students. They hang out in schools don't they? The other thing I like about them is the never talk back. And after working with them - wow - some of the stories you can tell are whoppers!
