Ouch

Everyone was OK, and in the final tally that's what matters most.
Still it is hard on the eyes to see your car in such a state; the pictures make it look exactly like mine.

Here's hoping you get a settlement that allows a replacement.

Matching pair

This thing about "harvesting" body parts is getting WAY out of control. Don

Not sure how fast he was going. I was going straight across the intersection and was about 15 feet away from being all the way across(it was a 3 lane highway). He must have sped up to make the light or cut me off. I have no fault insurance. Is that going to be a problem.
I went to the hospital afterward. They took x-rays and said I was fine. Not sure how this works. Hope I at least get something out of all this.

Thanks to all

Larry

Just curious if anyone would be interested in the whole car? I have to hold on to it for now, but hopefully soon it will all be over with. OR does anyone know of a rolling chassis in need of motor and transmission? That would be my third SVX. I feel like a murderer.

I wanted to wait a respectable period of time before bringing this up - if the sunvisors don't flop, and you won't be using that Alcyone hood emblem, let's talk.

i work in an ER at my local hospital. if you have question on your bill, it should be billed directly to your MV insurance. your primary insurance, if you have one...like Aetna, Cigna, or United Healthcare would then get the rest of the bill. if you do it in reverse then it will not be paid correctly. (pm me if you want more info)

i am so sorry to hear about your accident, but i am glad that you are okay. i honestly don't know what it feels like to be in a major accident, i only got bumped at a traffic light, but i do understand the anger against the other driver for not paying attention to what is going on around them. i wish you luck in your search for a new svx, if i can help, i will. i keep my eyes open for a sale on a svx all the time.

i actually wanna cry with ya

Sorry to hear of your accident. Once you gather your thoughts, and if you are looking for an SVX, I got a call from my mechanic last week that one of his customers was selling her "cherry" 92. Her husband had passed away and she needed to sell the car. She thought that it had ~80k miles but was going to check and get back to me.

well, not a nurse yet, but i am going through the classes to get my RN. then i want to be a trauma and flight nurse...

i do the billing and registration of the patients when they come in. i make their charts and get their medical info. i also do some triage when they walk into the door.

Perhaps you should put up a sign that says "Beware of Door" if enough people walk into it that you need to perform triage

I am very interested but I have to wait to see what kind of money I will be getting out of this. If you hear anything good about the car though please pm me. Thanks Matt

Thanks Kelli I have it taken care of.

And no not yet Dick. My girlfriend called the hood emblem already. But I will post in the for sale section when I make up my mind. If I do sell the visors though you get them.

Glad you're ok (physically anyway). I know that your car is not going to make it...any damage seems too much for the SVX in the US.

There seems to be a shortage of SVX parts cars in Canada. I wish I had an opportunity to acquire one.

Not completely sure. It was leaking lots of fluids. He moved it over to a different parking lot when the cops came. I just tried to avoid getting myself in trouble. Which might have worked because the only contributing cause was his failure to yield the right of way. What a relief.
