WTB: 96-97 obd2 ecu

I'm looking for a dead obd2 ecu to cut up for an adapter to put an earlier ecu into my 97 when I swap I'm my 6 speed transmission. I would also be interested in a known good obd1 ecu, with enough harness to make said adapter. Thanks in advance.

You can also find the same slip lock connector on the OBD2 legacy ECUs from the 90s. I got one from a 98 to strip for the connector. Much easier to find. I wouldn't be surprised if the OBD1 ECUs from the legacys use the same connector as the SVX OBD1 ECUs.

Thanks, I was wondering if those were similar. I think they're pretty cheap on ebay, I still am interested in getting an obd1 ecu with a wiring pigtail.

Re: WTB: 96-97 obd2 ecu

I've got an OBD1 ECU in my parts car and I can cut as much of the harness as you want.
I promised it to fasteract7 but he is trying something else before he buys it for certain.
I can sell it to you if he backs out.

Re: WTB: 96-97 obd2 ecu

Blacky,

My 92 has decided to run properly after 3 reman. injectors ( yea, I know I should have replaced all 6 !) so hopefully won't need your ECU for now. Thanks for the offer.
