side project need advise
Well my buddy ended up getting a 1998 Eclipse GS-T for practically nothing. It has a jdm motor w/70k on it
stock turbo and an EVOIII turbo w/ stainless steel manifold cat back exhaust new clutch/slave cylinder manual boost controller Wideband a/f,boost and oil pressure gauges The spare original turbo block body kit/custom paint/18inch rims That sums it up but need advise on tuning the boost and all that since I really don't screw with those at all. Any input at all on what we should do to it would be appreciated.

Does it have preloaded maps to flash to it or do you tune yourself?

tune it yourself.
basically you plug it in, it pulls up the stock tune. and then you adjust it from there. it's insanely easy to use. i am tuning a talon tsi right now with it. calibrating injectors is a matter of a couple clicks, most readily available injectors are already well documented for when you adjust deadtime and such.

Its got the stocker in for now untill we get injectors and such but the one above is an EVOIII 16g turbo w/ stainless steel headers

Well change of plans, noticed a puddle of gear oil under the trans after I moved it and noticed a crack on the rear housing. I went to take it of so I could weld it and found one of the pinion shafts has some play and filled the rear housing full of metal shavings. Better I find it now then in the car.
