Count Sher and I in for the Fall Colors, should have Xaviers ready by then. He has been down, getting humiliated with sap, pine needles, mildew and leaves for the last three months. Shame on me! I am so looking forward to the drive, actually to just driving a proper car again.

Here's an outline of what I have planned as far as schedule:

9:30am Meet and Greet/Coffee - 30 mins

10:00am Driver's Meeting - 30 mins

10:30am On the Road - 60 mins

11:30am Scenic Stop - 30 mins

12:00pm On the Road - 50 mins

12:50pm Lunch Stop - 60 mins

1:50pm On the Road - 40 mins

2:30pm Quick Break - 10 mins

2:40pm On the Road - 30 mins

3:10pm Scenic Stop - 30 mins

3:40pm On the Road - 50 mins

4:30pm Tour Ends


We always try to keep things reasonable and give people good intervals to stretch and socialize. That said, we also tend to get off schedule a bit so this isn't set in stone. This is more of a rough guideline and plan I'll try to stick to, but at the end of the day we may very well be pulling in up to an hour late, depending how good a time people are having along the way.

As long as I don't have any problems when I do the brakes this week me and my son should be there.

Just a few days left until Saturday!

And knock on wood, the weather report for Saturday is looking good, considering the time of year.

I've run the route twice in the last 10 days and everything looks great. Looking forward to doing it "for real".

Don't forget to come as early as 9:00am on Saturday to the Java Inn to sit and socialize - I'll have a few bits of nostalgia from tours past on site.

Definitely be there by 10:00am for the Driver's Meeting and to start our day on time.


This event will also be highlighted in an upcoming media project - I can't say much about that, but you if you want you and your SVX highlighted, better chances if you are there Saturday.

Hi guys,
Oh well, the new tires didn't make it. Soooo, no Xaviers, Dang, the dude is lookin good too, all shiny, spiffed up and all. It will be a lonely day for the ol' boy, just chillin'. But hey, there is always next time. So, Sher and I will be cruising in her car, sorry, it's not an SVX, not even a Subaru, oh the shame. Of course, only if that is kosher with the crew?
