TPS quick cleaning

quick question, If i understand it correctly, I can loosen the marked screws on the TPS, spray on and in some CRC and work the TPS back-n-forth, then re-align and tighten the screws, for a good cleaning effort of the TPS?

im going on a short trip and wanted to one shot it, as my 2-3 shifting has been flaring.

thanks for any responses!

Re: TPS quick cleaning

2-3 flaring is not due to the TPS. Your brake band needs to be adjusted on the transmission.
