Car is doing good.

So often we forget to mention when our cars are running well. Mine is, and I just thought I would lighten the mood.

-Mike

PS- my car always burns me for posting messages like this, I expect to need a new tranny by the end of the week. hehe

Both of mine are now clean and are doing really really well. I will post pictures of what I did to the red/claret one.

I don't think the weather gods like me much around here. It seems like every time I go wash and wax my car it rains about two days later. *sigh* But the car does look nice when you clean it up...make it all shiney like...it's worth it even if it's for a day or two.

Mine could not be better other than the funky smell in the AC which I am working on resolving. I drive it to work every day and can't walk away without a backwards glance. I got it up to 100 yesterday for a few seconds (speeding tickets get really expensive around here) and it felt like it was going half that speed. Except of course for all the trafic going in reverse.

Well, mine is doing fine except for the oil leak (gradually getting worse). I checked the oil today after driving home from work and it's below the LOW dot?! I'm hoping that that's just because the oil was warm and isn't sticking to the dipstick properly; my tranny fluid is that way warm or cold. It does a weird thing where there will be fluid a couple inches up the stick, but dry spots along an edge..

I would like to add that my SVX is also performing very nicely at the moment. I did some high speed back road driving the other day and she felt tighter than.......well.......let's just say everything's tight

I bragged on mine's reliability just 2 weeks ago, now it has developed the "surges". Non-lethal for the car, but a pissed off owner may opt for a 340Z......
