Re: WOW 36K mile 94 Laguna Blue Lsi on Ebay

would this one fall under any of the recalls for tranny. Ie, would you be able to get a new subaru tranny when this one blows.

I thought I read somewhere that there are no recalls for the SVX that we can use?

Next to ebony, I think I like (read want) a blue....ahh, but the anniversary reds are so nice too...and the pearls....liquid silver....

You can see the old cell phone mount that was drilled into the plastic.
If there is a hole in the roof from that antenna I think the car has lost some collectable value.
FYI - I asked the seller about the cell phone antenna, here's what he said:

Things wrong with it

Little old lady owned it.

How many oil changes in the last 15 years? with just 36k on the odo I bet not even one per year. Would love to see a used oil analysis with all the short trip driving.

Power antenna is inop with such low mileage.

Rear bumper has been repainted. I bet it was sublet out to a mobile service and painted on the car while outside.

Claims to have been garged but has chips, dings, and sap while it was parked outside.

Hole in the roof and was the edge of the hole primered? I bet the headliner had to be dropped. God knows what else was taken apart or tapped into during the install.

What's wrong with that? The mobile bumper guy I use can make the bumper look just as good as my body shop.

Re: WOW 36K mile 94 Laguna Blue Lsi on Ebay

Nothing personal against little old ladies. I just don't think an old lady would change her own oil. So how many times do you think she has taken it in for an oil change with such low mileage?

For a daily driver I would not have a problem with a bumper being preped and painted outside. For a car with possible collectable value. Lets not compare a bumper painted off a car in a paint booth. Versus painted on the car while outside.

I think it's amazing that he disclosed it. I bought my svx from a 92 year old lady. She had the oil changed once a year by the dealership. The car had 41k miles on it when i bought it on October. It runs perfectly.

You mean to tell me that the plastic thing that's in my center console that I use as a cup holder is OEM?! I honestly figured the previous owner rigged that thing up, but all things considered it works fairly well, aside from the fact that I cant close my console when I use it.

or you could make your own cupholder, just get some of that polystyrene stuff they use to ship computer or tv's and take a knife and cut it to fit and hold a cup and wedge it into the storage box, lid up of course.

I just looked in on eBay. Car seems to be sold at $10000.

That's a heck of a nice car.
