Im not a fan of the angel eyes
plus this mod was easier and can be done one
of several ways.
Im going to do the mod to a 92 Grill I have too soon.
And or maybe swap it over to the headlights instead.
But the mod has gotten the car alot of local attention
and compliments.

I'd like to see how they'd look on the inside edges of the headlights... That could turn out to be much more streamlined. The curves from the 97 grille kinda remind of me hanging christmas lights.

the new Audis are pretty curvy too, not sure if you noticed
I can streamline it too and take away the end ones pretty easily...
or change them to Amber if I want too.
Was thinking about doing them inside the headlights instead
but maybe another day when have some extra time on my hands.

I'm thinking of trying this on the inside of the headlamps. I thought of it after watching Ironman again the other day and seeing the Audi that Tony Stark drove.

Eh....I'd prefer it as a more solid line of LED's along the bottom of the headlight, and use that instead of daytime running lights.

those are 18x8 Lexus SC430 rims btw take offs
Im using the mod on this car to sell the idea to locals
for their cars too
but think Im going to try to do red or orange next in my
taillights too, if I ever get the front the way I want it.

I was hoping to get my side skirts and a few other mods
done this week too
I havent done any real mods to this car in over a year.

IMHO if you're going to do this type of mod on an SVX, run the LED's all along the lower edge of the clear lens. (just inside the lens) One continuous line from side to side. The other option would be some EL tape inside the housing all the way back against the reflectors. EL tape isn't very bright, but the effect would encompass the reflectors, adding brightness.

Oh yeah and a big +1 on a whole lotta dog stickin' out of an itty bitty window!!

pass. The only way to make them appear correctly is to have them in the headlight housing. stylisticly they don't suit being in the headlights either.Our lights are too square to give it the eye-liner effect the audi has. Plus the projectors being on the far outside doesn't help the "eye" look

I forsee the audi thing being a decorative lighting trend de-classed in much the same way as bmw's angle eyes. fwiw I saw a ford f150 with aweful looking headlights sporting projetors and audi's christmas light look
