Unhappy sunroof drain tubes, AC, Emergency brake problem

Hey guys I havent been on the forum for a couple months and my car is needing some TLC and maintenance.

Ive come to the conclusion that it is indeed one of the sunroof drain tubes that is causing the buildup of water under my passenger seat. Does anyone know which drain tube this would be and how i would access it?

Also My emergency brake light comes on when the temperature is below 60 degrees F or so and stays on irrelevant of the actual brake. is there a sensor or something that could be causing this?

and finally my AC periodically would stop working a few months ago and has finally went out completely. The compressor works and the fan motor still blows air. I was told there could be a filter in the system that could be clogged. any more info on how to diagnose this would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
-jason

Jason-

This is caused by your brake fluid being ever-so-slightly low. When it's cold out, the fluid shrinks in volume and trips the sensor. Simply top up your brake booster with brake fluid. (Should only take a few drops.)

This can also be caused by your e-brake switch remaining stuck because it is cold. In that case nothing is wrong, but the light will remain lit until the car warms up enough. This occurs in my Legacy and I have chosen to ignore it...

Note the 4 front and rear locations of the drains. I've never done it but you may have to pop some trim panels off to see if one came unhooked or is clogged.

Re: sunroof drain tubes, AC, Emergency brake problem

I had the same water leakage into the inside of my car. The problem was that the drain was pointing towards the pedels instead of down at the ground. Just remove the pass. side kick panel then pull out the bundle of wire from the access hole and you will see a yellowish/clear tube which is your culprit. To see if it's clogged just run water over the roof with the sunroof cracked enough so water can go into the drain, then look at the tube for water coming out.
