I'm sorry I stole your avatar

Whoever made the little avatar guy that I'm using, I'm sorry I stole it from Randy and modified it for my needs. I'll make my own someday...

That's okay, Nick. I stole it from Henry, who originated it. I'm waiting for him to make me a white one that "moves" like his.

Thumbs down Avitar

I just want to figure out how to get one to work. I've got a picture of cletis from the simpsons or the pic of my car, but it always tells me it's too dang big. I'd really like to use that pic of cletis too, it took a long time to find a good one on the net.

The avatar has to be 50x50 pixels. If you don't have a program to shrink it down put the image in your locker and I can shrink it down for you.

Eddycat,

Put your Cletus pic up on this thread, and I'll size it down for you.

Henry's has the wheels rotating and the window coming down with a friendly passenger waving. You haven't seen that?

Talking Avater

<< Ok Guys, what's an avatar ? >>

I think hes related to Darth Vader.... 3rd Nephew twice removed on his mothers side..

I think its the new device you plug in to help you get out af speeding tickets.... Its called the ticket avater...

I think I have a couple left, I was going to put them on Ebay, But for you I will just charge a flat $100. After all.. it is for the SVX and we know how hard it is to find them...

Honestly.. Its the little symbol that people have been putting next to there names. Some people have a small SVX, someone has a blinking radio tower, One guy has a skull. You can copy one onto your hard drive, and then use it for your own. Of course the person you copy it from might want some royalties...

Hope this elightens your otherwise avater day..

Chris

what's in a name?

My personal feeling is it's all a conspiracy by the computer geek types to keep us otherwise intelligent folks in the dark. I have this vision of them sitting around dreaming up names for things. I mean, I kept up with bits and bytes pretty much but now it's "what's your bluthrompt speed across your soozledrop port?" Never mind, I don't want it explained. Avater it is and I don't care if he's related to Darth Vader (who really is a lot of fun at a barbeque).

Didn't work, and I ain't trying anymore. I'm just gonna mosey on over to the yahoo site and try and pick a fight! At least over there I can figure out how to work the system...crappy as it may be. Call me toopid if you'd like, but puttin' a pic up on the side of yer post shouldn't take a degree, all I had to do on the other site was to e-mail a few to Svxit. I might check in from time to time, but I also don't have the knowledge aparently to navigate the board properly. Make the site a little more user friendly and I'll be back in a flash, tater shakin' and bells on my toes! No offense Chris, you've done a great job, but I just don't like jumping through hoops to read messages.
