Re: My new custom wing. What a freakin ordeal.

It fails on functionality as it is in no way benefiting you in performance. If you want to disagree with that IO would like to see the scientific calculations you did to determine the proper angle for the blade of spoiler at the height you set it at... Since it is not a performance addition then you must have done it for aesthetic purposes. Aesthetically it does not flow with the car. The sharp angular lines do not flow off car or act as a continuation of current lines. So it in now way compliments or continues anything about the car....

I can deal with ugly if helps the performance, but this does neither.......

you could have saved yourself some typing - you just defined "rice".

big and gawdy, no actual performance benefit, only for appearance.

+1 what he said....

JDM for the win... IMHO if I were to spend cash on something like that, it would be either the JDM or Provo spoiler, which was mentioned a few posts ago... a little higher, but not nearly as high and goddy as the buchanan 5000....

Anyone picking up on the "look at me" attention aspect of these posts? Think there might be other threads out there worthy of attention? I think so...bye!

Re: SVX without a wing

If he wants a tall wing and that makes him happy, then I don't see why we should care. It's his car and he is going to do what he wants with it regardless of our opinions.

That poor SVX.

You really need to just give the keys to someone else who isn't going to destroy this beautiful car how you just did.

But before you do, pull those wheels, front splitter, and clear headlights off and give 'em to me.

Re: My new custom wing. What a freakin ordeal.

On the upside, it really is a fantastic looking SVX, all wings aside. I'd like to see some interior shots if you ever get the chance. As far as attention grabbing goes, really... the shape that SVX is in and how it shines is more than enough.

In the other hand, I personally would have taken the money spent on the wing (then again, I would never do something like that in the first place) and spend it on real performance parts or upgrades for the car itself. With that said, do you have any engine bay pictures or any other pics of your SVX?

Screw the wing, I want to see the rest of the car.
