Two Weekends Of My Life I'll Never Get Back

...For this turd! Me, my dad and Will (Paladinwkh) drove up to Quebec, Canada the past two weekends to see this supposed "Mint" 92 SVX Will found on Ebay a few weeks ago. I'll spare you our horror stories and just show you the pics of the car. It was originally a claret but painted whatever red this is. It was a crappy paint job, they painted over rust and you can see where the paint and/or bondo cracked on the front right fender. The interior was SHOT, it looked and felt like it had been raining inside the car for years and there was a ****ing sprung MOUSE TRAP on the drivers side floor. The disaster under the hood was a lot worse before I took the picture, the pile of whatever was from the air filter straight up to the hood, it was solidly packed in there. The guy said it was sitting outside for 4 months, but it looked more like 4 years...You be the judge!

I'm pissed I got no interior shots and I didn't get a picture of where the car was before they dragged it across the yard with a beat ass, older than dirt International tractor.

Actually, right in the first picture you can follow the locked up tire mark back to where it was in the woods.

Hmmm seems that they are missing something in that engine can anyone see what it is? That sucks you drove there and were steadily lied to.

Drove there...TWICE!! About 2,000 miles total. Last weekend we didn't actually make it there due to U-Haul screwing us and not having a dolly for us. Then no friggin U-Hauls in Canada were open so we turned around up around Montreal and made the 400 mile trek home from there.

The engine bay?? how does that much debris get in an engine bay??

The moss on the headlights, though... now that's impressive in its own twisted way. Four months? uh-uh. Absolute bare minimum a year for it to colonise that way, and then only if a spore landed pretty much the day it was parked, there was absolutely no sunlight and it was wet/damp the entire time. More realistic is anywhere from 2+ years.

I've rolled the dice twice now, buying an SVX online, and both are healthy and strong. Scenes such as this make me feel like a very lucky man.
