What parts are compatible between SVX and other cars?

http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...highlight=Mods
There is also the <$100 mods thread:Link
From a new comers perspective, I think this thread is actually more informative than the other mods thread as it has more links to how-to, threads, and pics. I also went and added some more info to it in an effort to make it more complete.

I've checked that out as well, I'm 95% sure the bore sizes are the same. The lateral link bolt is the same part number from SVX to Impreza, so is the non-adjustable inner bolt. The cam bolt for rear toe adjustment is different from SVX to Impreza though.

Hey - it was nice meeting you too! Next event I'll go for a ride (heck, we may have the SVX ready for the next event).

All - I'm on my own this week as Tony is on vacation, and Rob left for a semester in France. This means updates will be slow as I have to do it all by my lonesome.

Re: The TiC project SVX

Hey Mods... We might want to go ahead and give TiC a "Vendor Account" since they are probably going to be offering products that actually help improve the handling of our cars

Hey Clint, you might have to PM one of the Mods about the Vendor Account...

We have "Vendor Accounts" here???

I just did a quick check of all of the vendors I could think of and none of them have anything special in their profile...

Re: The TiC project SVX

In regard to the rear bushings you have replaced thus far, is this possible with the front as well? Is Kartboy the best source for the front bushings if they are available?

I'm assuming you're talking about the front subframe to chassis spaces. I was JUST looking at that today. I'm going to give it a try in a bit.

As for update - new pads and rotors are on. Haven't had a chance to bed them as the wife called and said she was running late so I had to pick up the kid from school. Right now they're really grabby, and need a bedding.

FWIW, pads are Hawk HPS. If we're going to track the car then we need to figure out a better braking solution as these are as racy as I've been able to find for compounds (other than porterfield R4's which I will NOT be putting on any car I own).

Bump.

Any progress suspension-wise? I'm rebuilding my engine and trying to think of things that can be done in the process.

Re: The TiC project SVX

those 08 sti wheels look awesome on the svx..... really updates the styling...

# Motor mounts - have not looked at them closely yet. Need to pull one and measure. We may be able to work something out on those, but we'll have to see.

tomssvx sells modified STI mounts at AllWellDrive.com
they are awesome.... the stock ones SUCK as they are liquid filled and tend to burst, plus they allow WAY too much vibration for any real performance....

keep up the good work! i love to see someone so motivated and getting things done in the SVX community, we sure need people like you to keep our cars competing in the motor world....

im sure that any "kit" for the suspension you can put together would interest many members here on the boards.... including me, but my svx just got stolen so i wont be on the market for a while

keep on rockin on this project!

Re: The TiC project SVX

I was gonna bring this back from the dead also!

Deffinetly interested in a bushing kit and sway bars.

Any thoughts on a faster steering rack for the car aswell?
