MWM II and some other issues
Guys I got a couple of questions. First, we need to know if we are going to have MWM II. Secondly, I want to talk about a possiable convoy going down to IN from Chicago for the 10th. anni. meet.

I am looking at leaving around noonish from chicago. Reason behind this is beacuse Earl Steel just bought Stan's 92. Both Stan and Earl wants to join us to go down. Stan in his new 96 (green -- where's colin?) and earl in the pearl.
Earl told me that he should be in ORD by 10 or so and I assume we can go by noonish Chicago time. What do you think? Lwin ps. MWM II -- Where? When? Who?

I have not purchased my ticket yet, so if I need to change anything, let me know. Stan was out of town until Friday night, so maybe he will see the thread and reply when he would be ready.
Lwin - the time that you mentioned seems to be when all of the flights are getting in.

We need to keep track of emails/numbers for people around here so that we can contact them for stuff like this. Does anyone already have a list? Otherwise, i'd be more than happy to make one up. We have at least 4-5 in chicago. Then we have colin and mike and doug out of chicago as well. There has to be more.

Convoy
Talked with Earl last night. He's making travel arrangements and I'll pick him up and deliver the Pearlie whenever he arrives. Only problem is that we need to drive back up to my place to pick up my Ralph Lauren Green special. (Unless one of you very clever SVX folks have figured a way to drive them both at the same time.) If he arrives very late in the morning we can't guarantee noon. I am about 35-40 minutes North of OHare.
I told Earl that the "Convoy" bit reminded me to look for my old CB transmitter.....10-4 Good Buddy!!! I guess it's FRS time, now. Lwin - definitely count me in. You have my telephone numbers. I'm looking forward to this as a new member and one who has never been to a meet before.

Randy - Thanks for the welcome. Since I owned the Pearl for over 6 1/2 years and enjoyed it so much, I guess I missed a bunch of good years as a Club Member. Hope to make up for it now.
"Earl the Pearl" - you have been dubbed by our President. Randy - Is that what the middle three letters in your club name stands for? If you have any ideas about "Stan the Polo Green", I quit now! Looking forward to "The Big One" , too.
