Ok, so I finally replaced the Coolant temperature sensor.... $25 at autozone. But... well... I dont know, I mean, I gotta say it deffinetly feels WAY better... but the problem is still there. Lets say the problem went from a 100% to a 70% or 65%

Its not running as rough as it was, but still from lets say 0% to 50% of the gas pedal it still misfires or something.... but deffinelty not as bad as before. So the problem just got smaller, wich is fine.... but Im very frustrated....

Any more ideas????

PLEASE HEEELLPPP!!!!!!

Keep looking for vac. hoses. When the engine is cold, it likes more air as it is programmed richer, but when it warms up then it will be too lean and not so happy.

Did you check out your O2 sensors? One of mine was FUBARED and cause mine to run weird, just at higher rpms/speed. It could have something to do with it.

Make sure the wiring is right too, because mine was hot wired into the harness and didn't have the plug used for SVXs.

My car started running rough like similar to your a while back after a particularly cold day. Took it to the shop, they ended up changing out two injectors and two coils and it started running fine. I think they were just changing stuff out, until they finally hit the right one.

So try doing this, start the car and while it is running rough ..
- disconnect one of the injectors, if the car runs worse, you know it was working properly, reconnect it and move to the next one.
- The one that when disconnected does not make any difference in the way the engine runs is the culprit ie: could be the plug or the coil or the injector for that cylinder.

Good luck.

What about when it's just sitting there? While it's parked if you rev it up, does it run rough, or is it just when it's under a load?

It idles rough sometimes, sometimes idles at 1500, sometimes goes down to 500, some times idles fine.... and yeah it runs rough with and without load.

Funny thing... i just noticed today it ran fine all the way from work to home.... it makes me feel it could be a dirty connector or a false on a cable or something.....

Ok. Lets break this down

First if you have a misfire, Its not a coolent temp sensor.
It means you are not getting spark somewhere. Also I just had to replace the Mass Air Metor on mine. It was kinda the same symptoms. And my CEL wasn't always on for that one.

So if its not that, I bet you have one or more coils bad. Happened on my Mustang a few times.

If you give the car anything over half throttle you are forcing air (MAF) and energy and the symptoms seem to go away. You can always diagnose something like this while under a lowend load. Your ECU is fine. It seems on this board that people think way too deep on things. Take it for face value at first. Do you clean your engine and spray water on it? That KILLS coils/plug boots. Water gets down inside the hole. It takes some time forthis problem to show its ugly face sometimes.

You have a better chance of hitting the lottery than having an injector "go bad". It was a coil I bet
