Right, but as long as we're dreaming of converting the SVX into a mid-engine car with a flat 12, we dont have to think of a way.

We can just assume that we'll pay for a way.

Significant Technical Input
So why don't we see your bid Mr. Pockets? Actually we could just stretch the front of your car a little bit down at the limo shop and voila! A redheaded SVX! Shoot, it ain't nuttin' a few sacks of bucks won't fix.

I've never seen it.

Oh, wait, you're not talking about the LaForza, are you? If so, it's no Ferrari, that's for sure...

I found this while doing a quick search:

Quote:
The Laforza 4x4 is made in Italy in the Pininfarina factory. It is primarily for military and police use over there. It has an Alfa Romeo 6-cyl engine in it in Italy.

However, a company called Monster Motorsports in Escondido California imports them into the USA without the engine and transmission.

there they are equipped with a Ford 5.0 loter V8 and an automatic overdrive transmission. They are then sold as a luxury SUV with Ferrari leather and walnut trim.

Laforzas are designed for low level drops from airplanes and therefore have to be very tough. They weigh 5250 lbs (~2400kg). These are fun off road vehicles as you feel almost indestructable in them.

Also have a friend with a laforza, http://www.xtype.org/lfza/ ... typical italian reliability though...

Lamborghini's SUV was the LM002. Countach engine in an SUV, I like that idea

I don't have any first-hand experience with Laforza vehicles, but the only reason I can see spending that much money on one is so you can tell your friends all about it (as if they're total idiots for not knowing what it is). Other than that, I see no qualities in the Laforza to justifiy the cost. It's not styled well, it's not appointed well and the running gear is hardly exotic.

My main beef with the Laforza is really with its importers. If you look at http://www.laforza.com/specs.html, they show 'accident photos' at the bottom. Those two cars may have been involved in the same accident, but they did not come together the way the page's authors describe. The MB might have hit the Laforza, but it did not receive the vast majority of its damage from it. There is simply no way that the Benz simply rear-ended the Laforza. It's a flat-out lie.

And the claim that the Laforza 'crashed through the barrier' during an impact test is absurd. These tests are photographed. If the Laforza really crashed right through the test barrier, where's the proof?
