I have a set of wagon struts that I use in the winter on my XT, lifts the car 3" only problem is it's right on the end of the axle angle and when you step on it the axles click. They are brand new and I dont want to wreck them. lol
Flip the top mount upside down, and it'll lower the rear of th eXT about an inch and a half...

OK you lost me on that one

The front axles are what click, not the rears. I already cut a round of sprning out of them too and they still click. Sure lifts the XT nice thou and man can it go thru snow.

I would be willing to try the computer, ( if svxfiles says that might help) As of yet, I have not cut any wires

Start a new project everyday,

And do my best to have it done in a day or two! Unfortunately, the 'car' projects are on 'hold' for at least another month.

Been HAMMERING away at the 'things that I have always WANTED to do'.

I have made more progress this year than ANY year of my LIFE!! it just keeps getting BETTER!!! The UP side is, that the things I have always wanted to do, were to make BETTER places to work on cars!!

Done THAT!

Paid for the 4 bay today. spent the last 2 hours uncovering the 61 Sunliner for the move to the latest addition to my work area.( seen the commercial where the girl pushes her button and makes the car 'beep' under the stuff that was piled on top)?? She says," I KNOW it's in here somewhere"...Yea, That's ME!! NEED MORE STORAGE!!

I put splotches of white paint on everything that gets painted white in the old shop. Harry will be out of paint before I get up this AM. I left him a gallon but I have 5 more gallons waiting. That makes 67 gallons I have bought this year!!

So Bike done back to the Bucket

Well I got all the welding done on the frame, just have to clean some of them up. So I decided to pull it back to the barn and set the body on the frame and do some test fitting. Plus I needed to make some space in the barn to store a couple cars. lol I wanted to keep pictures along the way so I hamed it up... lol

Anyway, here is my progress so far:

HE actually did it!! He covered all the white splotches on the 61 Ford!! Didn't touch the walls!! There was some lifting of the 25 year old laquer paint, and he put LATEX on the left quarter pannel of the Sunliner!! I have pics of him using the 409 and a towel to clean it off!

He did me good today, because he not only got the site ready for the 'pour' at Huckleberry's Place, but painted all the RIGHT stuff too!
I got home at 12:30 am, and when I drove past the construction zone, It looked GREAT!!

AND, in the spring, I will be pushing the peddle to make it SO.

I might have to 'sacrifice' some tires to the 'street-rod' gods!!

I've been busting on houses since march 13, 06!
5 months on the planet MRAF, and 7 weeks so far on the 150 year old shack!

I NEED to spend some quality time with the plas and mig.
I have not done anything to the cars this year, except take a rusty street rod down to bare metal, prime it and take it to the BEST SHOW on the east coast in primer and fenderless! 79 gallons of latex later, I get to work on some cars!!
