Well I want to do it right the first time so where can I buy the correct orings and where are they all located. A how-to for A/C conversion should be made...

There are at least 13 o-rings (that I've found).

You need to remove the condenser to get at a few. This involves removing the glovebox and the evaporator assembly. It's a good idea to remove both the evaporator and the condenser to clean all the gunk that's collected in there over the years.

I got a universal conversion kit from the former Subaru dealership that included the r134 fittings, oil for the o-rings and all but 1 o-ring that I needed.

Expect to take a day changing the o-rings because you will no doubt find a couple connections that are overtight. I had one tight connection to the condenser as well as one tight connection in the evaporator. Both required heat to undo. Be careful not to damage your condenser.

How about:

http://www.ackits.com/merchant2/merc...ct_Code=CP3008

for an o-ring kit, But it says "Just what you been asking for vehicle specific o-ring kits. Quality o-ring kits at wholesale prices. R12 and R134a compatible o-rings and gaskets. No longer will you need to search all weekend for those needed o-rings!" How can they work for both?....
