Howto steal an SVX

It looks pretty straightforward on the wiring diagram.

The security module controls a relay to interrupt the starter circuit. This relay is located up under the dash near where the wires come through from the engine compartment.

It's a 2x2 connector wired as follows:

Pin 1 Blue/Red is the power to the relay coil from fuse 23.
Pin 3 Blue/White is the other side of the relay coil connected to the security module. The module grounds this wire in order to close the relay, which connects pin 2 to pin 4 and thereby enables the starter.

Pin 2 Black/White is the power supply for the starter.
Pin 4 Blue/White goes to the starter via the Park/Neutral switch.

Sid, take it to someone else who knows what they're doing before it's too late. If he works in a shop, they should already have access to the necessary wiring info for the alarm module. If he doesn't, then the pinouts are printed right on the security module itself. The SVX security module is about as straight forward and simple as it gets. If he's trying to do this blind, then he might just screw up your car before all is said and done.

FYI: The alarm pinouts are also in the How-To Documents on this site, just be careful who you trust your car to.

Hi,
I got the alarm working fine, but still have trouble with the autostarter.
It seems to the computer is shutting the autostarter.
So I need to know what to do from the Security module to the computer?
I hope someone understands what I'm saying.
I just need a way or trick to bypass the computer and start my car with the remote, instead it starts for a few second then cut-out.
thanks,
sid
PS - I not giving up easily.

Sounds to me like the fuel pump isn't running.

The engine runs for a couple of seconds until the pressure in the pipe subsides and then runs out of fuel.

Check the fuel pump relay is energised.

Fuel Pump is fine. What kind of wire I need to bypass the starter? Is a 4,6,8 guage wire???
I'm giving up, beside the SVX running good and it made two years old.
