Quick Timeline (might be a little off)

For Me:

August 05: Purchased 1st SVX (Claret 92 Pearl)
Dec 05: Purchased 2 SVXen from Ebay (Kinley Subaru's "Parts Cars" 1 92 LS Pearl and a 92 LSL Ebony with heavy front damage)
January 06: Purchased Pearl White 92 for 5 speed project
January/February 06: Purchased Silver 92 Parts Car from Zavikan in conjunction with TomsSVX
Feb 06: Sold Pearl 92 LS to Excall (Brian)
April 06: Purchased 94 Pearl LSi with Mike
April 06/May 06: Two parts cars almost completely stripped, going to scrap soon.
May 06: Eyeing up two or three potential candidates.

So I guess Ive had posession of 6 now.

Just FYI-

Because the car has tri-coat paint, they couldnt use the optical color sensor on it. I ended up just taking the car to a good body shop that is going to install a new fender and paint/blend it into the neighboring panels.

No offense guys but when the Jack is used properly in conjunction with the supplied wheel chocks, there is not an issue with it folding sideways. So far I have had to use the stock jack 3 times to fix flats or just raise the car with no problem. Just gotta use wheel chocks thats all

I play it safe, I bought an aluminum 2 ton garage jack for all my cars. It's light, fast and strong.

I've used mine many times too w/o the chocks since it was missing from the SVX I've never had problem.....yet. I guess I was lucky? I always look for very safe and leveled surface when I work with the jack, and work only very short amount of time possible. Still haven't used the jack in my new SVX, so this whole collapsing jack thing is good know.

I think your problem was you using two jacks at a time. When a car is up in the air on one side all the weight is pushing down on the other, where you used the "danger jack"

You may be right, but the way I understood it, he had the other jack supporting the other car.
