finally came to the other side
well i've finally done it... i've gotton tired of the #$%&*@ yahoo groups. so i decided to start hangin out over here... just wanted to say hi to all the old yahoo club members and to all the people from here i don't know yet... anyway, i have a 92 burgandy (can't remember official name for the color) svx with 150k on the dial. as far as mods go. i haven't done much yet except that i just put on a set of 17" ADS GT rims and ventus 245/45ZR17 tires. also have done a few stereo mods. so thats pretty much it... talk to you all later...

Hey, well welcome over and enjoy your stay!
 Say, does anyone here get upset when people refer to the color their SVX's using the unofficial names like black instead of "Ebony" or burgandy instead of "Claret"...and not just any silver but "Liquid Silver" Pearl is obvious already though

Welcome. I'm glad you've joined us. I hope you find this a pleasant place to be. We tend to get a little goofy at times, but, you have to remember, this site was spawned by former Yahooligans, so, there won't be much of a change, except in format. Welcome, Mike. I made the switch over a year ago and haven't looked back. I doubt you will, either.
And I dig the black over claret - my mom has one. People often ask her if the entire top of the car is glass...

Claret Pearls (the "official" Subaru color name, white isn't the only pearl in technical terms) rule!!!

Was Barcelona red the only red on the SVX? I have a 94 LSi in red, but it's not as bright as the Legacy GT Rio red, but not as dark as Maroon or Burgandy. I don't have the color code on me or a 1994 dealer brochure, although I'd like one of those. I have a 1997 SVX brochure floating around here some where in semi-worn condition. They only list 4 colors for the 1997's.
